I've been listening to hip hop music since 1987 and have checked out tons of albums, so I created this blog to showcase what I feel are the top 10 USA hip hop albums that got released each year starting from 1986. Recorded hip hop music started in 1979, however the period between 1979 to 1985 mostly consisted of singles and very few albums, hence why I grouped those years together. Also added are the top 10 Canadian and soundtrack hip hop albums of all time. Each year is in alphabetical order.
